“Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” (Matthew 7:14) In the margin of my Bible, I have written, life is difficult, just a reminder that there can be times in our journey that life is difficult, a reminder that life is never free from problems. Our journey can either be an adventure or a struggle. We have the choice.
If we accept the fact that in life there is going to be problems and challenges, we can move forward and get on with our lives, instead of worrying about these problems. There are going to be mountains that come into our lives. When these mountains appear, we have three choices that we can make. We can sit at the bottom and worry. We ignore the mountain and go around it, or we can start to climb the mountain. Remember that we don’t climb the mountain alone. Jesus is with us all the way.
“Those who do not know how to fight worry die young.” (Dr. Alexis Carrel)
